If you are a non-UChicago undergraduate interested in graduate school at the University of Chicago please send me an e-mail with the subject “Potential PhD student” and be sure to include

1. your resume or CV, ideally including relevant coursework
2. a detailed explanation of your research interests and
3. what specific questions you have about our research, the program, and the like.
4. Any additional references, including blog posts, social media presence, github projects, etc.

As you can imagine we get a lot of inbound interest and e-mails sometimes disappear into the ether; if you don't hear back please feel free to ping me again. I try and answer every email, even to say “sorry we're probably not a good fit”.
